My name is Mikael Lundin and I am a software developer from Sweden, working as a consultant in a firm here in Stockholm. I have programmed for 14 years and started out with Pascal when I was 12. Since then I’ve touched a lot of languages in both DOS/Windows environment and the Unix/Linux world. At the moment I focus on C# .NET but it happens that I glance sideways on Ruby people and wonder what happens there.
I am a bit obsessive about my code and want it to be as good as possible. That is why I got interested in unit testing and software patterns. I find that many of my fellow programmers think of unit testing and software patterns as overkill, and I would hope that those things were a part of every software engineers education.
Except from the obsessive coding part, I am a quite ordinary guy that likes to read books, listen to music and watch movies.
